BedHalo uses your iPhone microphone to recognize sounds and disturbances in your sleeping environment. In the morning, detected events appear on a clear timeline. If you choose Standard mode, short event clips can help you hear what happened.

Understand your sleeping environment

During an active session, BedHalo listens for sounds and disturbances around your sleep. Detected events are timestamped and added to your night, so you can see when they occurred and where the quiet periods were.

Choose whether to keep short clips

In Standard mode, BedHalo can securely record and store short sleep-sound clips around detected events, so you can play them back in the morning. If you prefer statistics without saved audio, Silent mode is designed to track your night without keeping event clips. You stay in control of how much is recorded.

Connect events to Sleep Battery

The timeline gives context to your Sleep Battery. Review both together, then compare several nights to see whether recurring sounds, room conditions, or changes in routine appear alongside changes in your score.

Keep control of your audio

  • Choose Standard mode with clips or Silent mode with statistics only.
  • Choose how long saved clips remain available.
  • Delete individual sessions or all local app data.
  • Sleep audio is processed on your iPhone.

Use recording responsibly

You are responsible for using audio features lawfully. Do not use BedHalo to record other people without any consent required by law in your country or region.
