What BedHalo does on your iPhone
Most people spend a full night in bed and still wake up unsure why they feel drained. BedHalo turns your iPhone into a sleep monitoring app that listens for the noises, movements, and hidden disturbances that quietly shape your night, so you can finally see what happened while you slept.
You start a session before bed, keep your iPhone nearby, and in the morning BedHalo shows your Sleep Battery, a timeline of detected events, and — in Standard mode — short sleep-sound clips you can play back. Over multiple nights it surfaces trends in your sleep environment.
What you need to run it
- An iPhone running iOS 17.0 or later.
- Microphone permission, which powers overnight disturbance detection.
- Optional notification permission if you want bedtime reminders.
- No Apple Watch, no extra hardware, and no account to start tracking.
How BedHalo is different
Instead of confusing graphs, BedHalo gives you one clear metric — the Sleep Battery, a body charge powered by your sleep. It focuses on overnight sleep disturbances and sleep sounds, and it is built around privacy-first, on-device processing so your highly personal sleep data stays on your device.
What BedHalo is not
BedHalo is a wellness and self-tracking app, not a medical device. Sleep scores and event detection are estimates and can be affected by device placement, room noise, and iOS behavior. It does not diagnose or treat sleep disorders.
